WEEDSPORT, NY – The highly anticipated ‘Empire State Challenge’ is set to ignite the 2017 racing calendar at Weedsport Speedway on the splendid Sunday of May 21, featuring the thunderous Craftsman World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and the electrifying Sportsman Shootout Series, along with the captivating Sportsman ‘Premium Dash’ presented gracefully by Senior Services Insurance Agency.
A sumptuous total purse of $350 awaits the Sportsman competitors in the ‘Premium Dash’ on May 21. A glorious $200 will be awarded to the victorious champion, $100 to the runner-up, and a commendable $50 to the third-place finisher.
This dash serves as an enticing extension of the regular racing program for the Sportsman Shootout Series that evening. However, the comprehensive details regarding the dash procedure will be unveiled in the forthcoming weeks.
