New Partner Joins GRIT Racing with Big Funds

CORTLAND, NY – Paul Cole, the owner of SuperGen Products, has successfully reached an agreement with the originators of GRIT, Dick and Nick Stark, thereby forming a three-headed management team to steer the established series. The series president, Dick Stark, declared, “Paul has been an exceptional sponsor for the series. He possesses a remarkable business acumen and a solid political background. He introduces a distinctive perspective to what Nick and I have accomplished previously, and this will undoubtedly enable us to continue to grow and mature as a series.”

“Everything we undertake will be thoroughly discussed among us. There will be no haphazard or impulsive approaches. Paul brings the essential structure that a prosperous business demands. Business sense will not be overlooked simply because we are dealing with a hobby or sport,” Stark (Nick) remarked.

“As a multi-faceted supporter of racing, I am fully aware of the power of marketing relationships. Our aspiration is that while expanding the Sportsman Class of racing, more racers and owners will be capable of strengthening their relationships with their sponsors. This way, the racing industry will continue to thrive throughout the region. Race cars can be costly, but they offer an excellent means for advertisers to showcase their products to a much wider public. By increasing the purses and regionalizing the tours, GRIT will enhance the value of Sportsman racers as a significant commodity for their marketing partners while enabling them to earn substantial amounts that can offset the escalating costs of racing,” stated Paul Cole. His business, SuperGen Products, serves as a distributor of Champion Power Equipment (generators, pressure washers, winches) based in Newark, NY.

When it comes to structure, here is the established format for the upcoming season. The GRIT Racing Series is divided into 4 separate tours (2 American Racer/2 Hoosier), each with a compact 5 to 7 race schedule. Each respective tour will have its own $7500+ point fund, representing a significant departure from the previous GRIT format that imposed a much lengthier and more demanding workload on racers. Another change to be implemented is that committed GRIT competitors will pay a $20 entry fee at each show on the tour. The majority of this fee will be redirected back into the point fund, while the remaining amount will be utilized for necessities on the tour such as additional technical support, dyno costs, awards, and more. This enables racers to determine their level of commitment and ultimately shape their own destiny at the season-end payout line. Listed below is the respective MINIMUM payout for EACH tour on the Champion Power Equipment GRIT Racing Series. The payout will be distributed to the top 25 in tour points. The previously established minimum touring requirement is no longer in effect, and no drops will be implemented. How you perform in the events is how the results will be tallied. However, bonus points will be awarded for participating in all events.
