The division is now to be known as the “Hammer Sportsman Division”.

The title defense of 2016 New Egypt Speedway Sportsman champion Bob Lineman Jr. commences on Saturday night, April 1st. The 358 Modifieds, Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars, and the Lyons Construction/Metal Fab Rookie Sportsman will join the Sportsman.
Other potential title contenders seem to be JT Trstensky, 2016 Lyons Construction/Metal Fab Rookie Sportsman Champion Cale Ross, Art Liedl, Billy Osmun III, TJ Lilly, Joe Dill, and a group of others.
New Egypt Speedway’s annual Open Practice session is slated for Saturday, March 25th, from 12 to 4 PM. The Pit Gates will open at 10 AM for Tech Inspection. The Pit Admission will cost $25.
New Egypt Speedway is located along Route 539 in New Egypt, NJ, just a few minutes away from Six Flags Great Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike. It is a thrilling 7/16-mile D-shaped dirt oval.
